Beth Blair, MBA
In November 2009, Beth Blair was promoted to Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Beth Blair has been with Pressley Ridge for over 17 years, and has been Senior Director of Finance and Accounting for the last seven years. In addition to all of her current responsibilities in general accounting, budgeting and reporting, control, internal audit, billing and planning, Beth, with her new position, has formal responsibility for financing and banking relationships.

Beth is a published author regarding best practices in financial management in behavioral health and is an active member in the national Alliance for Children & Families CFO group.

Beth started her career as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand CPAs. She worked for General Foods for 10 years in internal audit and a variety of financial management positions. While at General Foods Beth won the Chairman’s Award for saving the organization two million dollars on an ongoing basis. Prior to coming to Pressley Ridge, Beth worked for the H J Heinz Co. as their consumer products Financial Manager.

Beth was selected to attend an Executive MBA program while at General Foods and subsequently earned her MBA in Finance and Accounting from Baruch College in Manhattan, New York. She earned her BBA in Accounting from Clarion University in Pennsylvania.

Foster Parent Conference & Recognition Banquet

Pressley Ridge Delaware is collaborating with the state of Delaware to host the first Foster Parent Conference & Recognition Banquet. The conference is FREE; continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be served; keynote speaker is Chauncey Strong of Fairfax County Virginia Department of Family Services in the Permanency and Life Skills Unit ; training sessions will be offered throughout the day. Upon completion parents can earn 6 annual training hours.
