PITTSBURGH—The event committee for the 2005 Pressley Ridge Ice Cream Sunday will scoop up some fun at a kick-off party on Wednesday, March 30, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Golf Club, 5280 Northumberland Street, Schenley Park.
The committee has chosen an All-Star sports theme for the 2005 Pressley Ridge Ice Cream Sunday, which will be on Sunday, August 21, 2005. Active and retired athletes from local college and pro teams will take part in this worthy fund-raising effort on the grounds of Pressley Ridge’s North Side Pittsburgh campus.
Proceeds from Ice Cream Sunday support the Opportunity Fund which makes donations to bring families together, help them through emergency situations, or make a troubled child’s life a little happier. These donations from community members also provide essential non-reimbursed medical services and small scholarships for Pressley Ridge kids.
