Pressley Ridge Selects director of communications
PITTSBURGH--Pressley Ridge has announced the selection of Yvonne English Roebuck as the Director of Communications.
The new position was created to increase awareness of the innovative programs and services provided by Pressley Ridge. Helping children and families since 1832 from its North Side facilities, Pressley Ridge today has programs in six states providing education, community-based residential and treatment foster care services. In addition, Pressley Ridge is expanding its array of services to offer technology advanced business solutions programs to market to other human services organizations.
"I am very excited for the opportunity to help develop the marketing and communication strategies for Pressley Ridge", Roebuck said. "Pressley Ridge success stories have impacted the community in various ways and those stories need to be told."
Roebuck formerly was a public information officer for the Community College of Allegheny County, Allegheny and North campuses. She was responsible for shaping the image and marketing of the college. Previously, she was employed at Duquesne Light Company as a senior market analyst.
She earned a master's of business administration degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from Clarion University.
A Pittsburgh native, Roebuck resides on the North Side.
