Scott D. Hasselman, M.Ed., Vice President of Treatment Foster Care and Community-based Services

Scott Hasselman was appointed executive director of Pressley Ridge's Ohio offices and vice president of treatment foster care and community-based service lines in May 2003. He began as a teacher/counselor at the Ohiopyle Wilderness program in 1984 and became program director at Grant Gardens and Laurel Park, located in West Virginia. Scott continued to advance at Pressley Ridge serving as Deputy State Director for West Virginia, overseeing programs in the southern part of the state.

While in West Virginia, Scott participated in a number of state-wide mental-health initiatives. He helped assess children who were placed out of state and developed individualized service plans to return the children to West Virginia. In addition, he assisted with the development of regional crisis-response teams, bundled rates for residential care, and youth service and wraparound policies.

Scott earned his masters degree in education from California University of Pennsylvania and bachelor's degree from Slippery Rock University.
