With over 200 chapters around the world, the ISACA Pittsburgh Chapter has chosen the Pressley Ridge Career Development Center (CDC) as a recipient of a $5,000 donation. The ISACA donation will go toward funding specialized cameras for visual aids for lower-functioning students, a projector and iPads at the CDC.
Since 1832, Pressley Ridge has understood that all children can change and grow and that all family can use support. We help over 5,400 children and families annually through Educational Opportunities, Foster Care Connections, Residential Options, and Community-based Support with locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, as well as internationally in Portugal and Hungary. Our CDC provides intensive career, educational and therapeutic services to children with challenging behaviors, utilizing technology to improve outcomes and impact educational growth for students.
“We are truly honored to be a recipient of the ISACA’s corporate social responsibility program, helping Pressley Ridge not only meet, but exceed the technological needs of our Career Development Center,” said Eddie Yongo, chief development officer for Pressley Ridge. “Workforce curriculum focused on technology will ultimately help these students develop life skills and advance towards becoming independent, productive members of society. Thank you to the ISACA for making it possible!”
