The successful candidate will have the beginnings of a professional graphics/web portfolio and an interest in social media and nonprofit development. The internship is designed to provide maximum exposure to our graphic and multimedia offerings as well as our fundraising efforts.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week for at least 3 months.

Training and mentoring is part of the internship, of course, but a successful candidate is expected to have:
• Ability to collaborate closely with creative leads on developing campaigns and collateral in line with overall brand look and feel.
• Proficiency in all applications of Adobe Design Creative Suite
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to conduct internet research
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good copywriting and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and follow through on assigned tasks
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS, though WordPress and database experience is helpful
• Professional appearance and manner
• A thirst for knowledge and experience

Must be currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors program, Bachelors preferred, and majoring in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or Communications.
