On February 17th, the Pressley Ridge Portugal team ventured into the intricacies of a very special training: a talkin’ cafe! Around a table with coffee, tea, biscuits, and treats we debated whether and how we “leave our mark”. Between staff, friends, and partners it was a fun debate, full of ideas and the pursuit of Pressley Ridge’s perception on the outside world: we wanted to share visions of us, think the views of those who work with us, and look forward to this world, one in which we mark people’s lives!
The talkin’ cafe is a corporate event, designed for organizations that value the sharing of ideas and knowledge among its members and even with their partners and/or customers. It takes place in a coffee room: the cafes have always been prime locations for the creation and dissemination of new ideas and knowledge. Even today it is often in the coffee break we learn and share valuable knowledge for organizations. How many times it is not at the coffee table we have contact with innovative ideas capable of taking the big decisions and positive changes? The coffee table is something that brings people together, creating the environment for the strengthening of ties, the creation of ideas and shared projects. In this scenario we organized an activity in which we debate issues and situations that are important to the development of human resources or the future of our organization. The activity lasts usually half a day and, at this time, involved the Pressley Ridge team and some partners who joined us!
