The Nicholas Hobbs Award

Tim Bauman, Program Director for Pressley Ridge’s White Oak Residential Program, was named the recipient of the Nicholas Hobbs Award. This annual award honors a staff member who embodies the Re-Education principles and personifies Pressley Ridge culture.

Tim has been a valuable member of the Pressley Ridge staff for 26 years. Described as a “hard worker and great leader”, Tim has the ability to come to the aide of programs in need, is well respected by his staff, and does whatever it takes to positively impact the lives of children in his community.

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Award

Beth Blair, Vice President of Finance and Accounting, was named as the recipient of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, an honor given to a staff member who produces significant entrepreneurial growth for the organization.

Beth has been instrumental in mergers and acquisitions at Pressley Ridge specifically through her role in due diligence, and has taken leadership in regards to reporting and articulating finance and accounting information. Beth is not only seen as a leader at Pressley Ridge, but is held in high esteem by other leaders in the nonprofit realm.

The President’s Award

Tanya McCormick, Program Director for the Treatment Foster Care program in West Virginia, received the President’s Award for Exceptional Leadership for her consistent and remarkable initiative and enthusiasm.

Through Tanya’s dedication and ability to develop and maintain community relationships as well as her ability to inspire and motivate her staff, the program she oversees is now serving more youth and families than it has in years and is achieving exceptional outcomes. Whatever the situation, Tanya is prepared to rise to any challenges in the spirit of serving youth and families.
