Clinical Support Specialist is expected to implement and support all program expectation concerning program operations as well as supporting the youth in both family and community settings. The Clinical Support Specialist is expected to implement treatment plans, goals, and behavioral interventions prescribed for the youth. The position also requires taking youths to appointments, meetings, social events, and visits. The job may also require the Clinical Support Specialist staff to work in the house with family as means of support to the treatment family. They must be flexible in meeting the needs of the family and youth and adapting the schedule accordingly. This is not a residential position. The CIA will implement the treatment plan and work on social skills, independent living skills, and other targeted skills identified by the treatment team in the community. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred, Associates Degree with one year paid experience will be considered, minimum of a HS diploma or equivalent. Experience working with troubled youth a plus. Must have reliable vehicle for travel to client homes, valid driver's license, insurance. The BSC works in collaboration with other members of the treatment team, designs, directs, and evaluates the implementation of the treatment plan which is individualized to each child and to family needs. The BSC identifies behavioral goals and intervention techniques, and recommends non-aversive behavioral change methods. The BSC provides direct supervision and consultation on the implementation of treatment to Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) and Mobile Therapist (MT) assigned to the case. The BSC promotes interagency collaboration through consultation with other service providers and stakeholders. The BSC must demonstrate cultural sensitivity, awareness of family dynamics, as well as knowledge of autism and behavioral intervention.
