Pressley Ridge has been providing services in Delaware since in February 2003. We provide Intensive Residential Treatment services for youth with severe mental health problems who have histories of institutional and psychiatric placements. Pressley Ridge IRT provides services to youths in professional treatment homes throughout the state of Delaware.
Program Highlight - Delaware IRT Services
Pressley Ridge
of Delaware IRT provides intensive treatment family-based services for children
as a step down from residential treatment centers or psychiatric hospitals. This
is an alternative to restrictive environments and allows children to learn and
grow within their own community.
Population Profile:
The children we serve are between
the ages of 13 and 18 years and are referred by Delaware Office of Child Mental
Health Services. They are referred for behavioral, family and interpersonal
problems. Many also have school problems, addiction problems, and criminal
behaviors.
