White Oak
Program Overview
Located in Walker, West Virginia (15 miles East of Parkersburg), White Oak is a Level III residential and diagnostic facility for both males and females.

Who Do We Serve?
To become a resident, youths must meet Level III criteria, be between the ages of 11-17, be in legal custody of state, have a current DSM-IV diagnosis, have an I.Q. of 70 or higher, have a history of failed placements and must present problems in more than one life domain. The average length of stay for program is 6-9 months for residential facility and 45 days for the diagnostic facility.
The Residential facility serves:
- Two groups of ten males (ages 13-17)
- Two groups of ten females (ages 13-17)
- One group of five males (ages 11-13)
- One group of six males (ages 15-17)
The Diagnostic facility serves:
- One group of ten males and females (ages 13-17)

Referrals can be made by contacting Intake Coordinator, Melanie St. Clair, at (800) 457-7933. Upon receipt of referral information admissions decisions are made after consulting program staff, viewing assessments from referral source, and use of internal screening processes.
