Foster Care Connections
Every Child Deserves a Family
“What really sold us on becoming treatment foster parents was all the support we would get from Pressley Ridge. We got great training and fair compensation. And when we have really rough times, we know we can count on the staff. We can’t save the world, but this is one way of helping to make things right.”
-Barbara and Lee Blankenbicker
Treatment Foster Care Parents
Pressley Ridge Treatment Foster Care is designed to provide a nurturing home environment for children and youth. Working together, each treatment foster care team helps children thrive with intensive, individualized treatment within safe, supportive, normative environments.
Highlights of Pressley Ridge Foster Care:
- Foster families are given up to 45 hours of intensive training prior to a youth joining their family, and parents maintain up to 30 hours of training per year.
- Families are supervised by clinical staff to offer support and to teach the families interventions and coping skills
- Families have access to 24 hour crises support
Since we strive to be the last placement service a child will ever need, Pressley Ridge works with biological families towards permanency (reunification, adoption, or independent living). Pressley Ridge’s Treatment Foster Care program is a nationally-recognized model of care that changes lives for children who have traditionally struggled in out-of-home care.
