Benefits & Training

Children with Balloons“My foster mom believes in me, pushes me towork hard, and makes sure I am involved. I feel that with my foster mom’s support, Pressley Ridge’s help, and my hard work, I have been able to accomplish many goals including becoming a college student.”

Benefits of Becoming a Pressley Ridge Treatment Foster Parent

Treatment parents find that being part of a team of professionals is exciting and rewarding. Parents are paid for their work but say that their greatest reward comes from seeing a child learn and grow in their care and from knowing they have truly made a difference.

We make sure our Treatment Foster Parents have the training and support they need to become successful foster parents. Our commitment to you includes:

  • Up to 42 hours of free pre-service training
  • Monthly in-service training
  • One-on-one training in your home once a child is placed
  • In-home or out-of-home respite services
  • In-home meetings with program staff
  • A 24-hour hotline for emergencies and support
  • Networking opportunities with other Pressley Ridge TFC parents
  • A highly competitive financial compensation package
  • Recognition and financial bonuses for exemplary performance
  • Referral fees for recruiting other Treatment Foster Parents who become certified
