Catherine Clark
Clinical Coordinator, Home Places
I began my career at Pressley Ridge in the Home Places program and spent my first 10 years as a Program Supervisor working with children and adolescents with Autism and Intellectual disabilities in the residential homes, in treatment foster families and those living with their families. These experiences prepared me well for my next journey of working at Pressley Ridge School for Autism (Brightwood Point) where I held the position of Family Liaison Specialist for eight years. I returned to Home Places as a Treatment Supervisor and then moved into my current position of Clinical Coordinator.
What has kept me at Pressley Ridge is honestly the team of people I have worked for, alongside and supported. I have witnessed the most dedicated and committed group of people making extraordinary and lasting changes in the youth we serve. In the past thirty years, I have certainly “grown up” at Pressley Ridge and continue to grow clinically with the on-going opportunities lead by the clinical leadership.
I don’t have just one most memorable moment but moments. Group camping trips to Ohiopyle, trips to amusement parks, Halloween parties, special celebrations, etc. Individual moments connecting with a youth sharing a laugh, a song, a small triumph – that is what makes my job here so rewarding.
