Empowering Foster, Kinship and Child Welfare Professionals with Knowledge and Confidence

Pressley Ridge offers an evidence-based training programs that strengthen the skills of treatment foster parents, kinship caregivers and the professionals who support them. Grounded in best practices, these programs are designed to improve outcomes for children and youth in care by building the knowledge, confidence and consistency of those who serve them—reinforcing a shared focus on empowering foster, kinship and child welfare professionals in meaningful, practical ways.

PR‑TFC Pre‑Service Training

PR‑TFC Pre-Service Curriculum is an evidence-based pre-service training developed specifically for treatment foster parents. This comprehensive, competency-based program equips caregivers with the knowledge, tools and practical strategies needed to support children with complex behavioral and emotional needs.

The training is also designed to help agencies and program managers maintain a high standard of excellence in service delivery. By focusing on skill development, consistency and evidence-informed practices, PR‑TFC ensures that foster parents are prepared to provide stable, therapeutic environments where youth can heal and thrive.

B~Hope: Embracing Kinship Caregivers Training

The B~Hope Embracing Kinship Caregivers Training supports professionals working with kinship families, including caseworkers, service providers and community partners. This program recognizes the unique dynamics of kinship care and prepares participants to effectively support both caregivers and the children in their homes.

Participants gain practical strategies, deeper understanding of kinship relationships and tools to address the challenges often faced in these placements.
