Brian Bronaugh is a communications and design leader with more than four decades of experience spanning advertising, marketing, and brand strategy. Over the course of his career, he has held senior creative and executive roles, including a 25-year tenure at Mullen Advertising in Pittsburgh, where he rose to President. Prior to joining Pressley Ridge, he served as the Owner and President of Landesberg Design, guiding the firm’s work across a variety of mission-driven sectors.
His experience extends beyond organizational leadership to teaching, having served as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business, and to industry and community engagement through numerous board roles, including leadership positions with Pressley Ridge, August Wilson African American Cultural Center, Calliope, and the American Advertising Federation. He is also a co-founder of the Grapevine Design Collective and former podcast host.
He remains engaged in fostering dialogue around design, storytelling, and civic identity. Brian feels most situations should not be approached prescriptively but with good questions and thoughtful listening — leading with ignorance and not expertise.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in fine art from Penn State University and a Portfolio Degree from The Portfolio Center in Atlanta GA.
