The Family Centered Treatment Foundation (FCTF) is proud to announce that Pressley Ridge has become the newest provider of Family Centered Treatment (FCT), an evidence-based model that helps families heal, grow, and stay together. Pressley Ridge, a nationally recognized organization that serves kids and families in seven states, will first launch FCT services in Ohio. This exciting partnership expands the reach of FCT into Ohio and strengthens the shared mission of preserving families and preventing out-of-home placements.
Family Centered Treatment is a nationally recognized, home-based therapeutic model designed to address complex family challenges, including trauma, substance use, and behavioral health concerns. Guided by the principle of “Keeping Families Together,” FCT equips families with practical tools and relational strategies to succeed within their own homes and communities.
Pressley Ridge, with more than 190 years of service, is widely respected for its commitment to children, adults, and families through trauma-informed care, mental health services, foster care, and education. By adopting FCT, Pressley Ridge is expanding its continuum of care with a proven model that aligns seamlessly with its mission of strengthening families and improving long-term outcomes.
Matt Mitchell, Executive Director of Ohio for Pressley Ridge, says the organization is excited to implement FCT as part of their current strategic plan goal to expand family preservation services. “FCT’s mission of keeping families together and children safe at home directly aligns with our organization’s values and focus on supporting and strengthening families across the state of Ohio”
This collaboration reflects a strong commitment by both organizations to provide families with the highest quality of care, rooted in compassion, accountability, and evidence-based practice.
“We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and partnership,” said Tim Wood, CEO FCT Foundation. “Pressley Ridge Ohio shares our vision of empowering families and communities, and we are thrilled to welcome them into the FCT provider network.”
